I doubled my funnies :)
This is a quick post and even though it's like 4 days late (it happened 4 days ago, on Saturday night), I won the English Comedy Competition and became Hong Kong's funniest person (in English) in 2008 :)
So now my trophies stand proudly on my shelf, side by side:

"Funniest Person in Hong Kong" is quite the misnomer, I believe. It should be, without miring in pedantry: "Funniest Person in Hong Kong who discovered a specific comedy club, TakeOut Comedy, kept abreast of the competition details and managed to show up with some humorous material, as adjudicated by a select few authority figures". Close, though.
All the same, congratulations :P I'll say this because I'm legally obligated to, as a friend (and also because it happens to be true): I don't know of anyone else who deserves it more.

Ahaha Sundeep, thanks for that. You're not legally obligated to say that, but it'd avoid a lot of potential legal issues by simply spitting out those words or anything that very, very closely resembles their phonetic sounds....
